I've always imagined the American Southwest as a hot, dry, empty place with grand landscapes. Having visited the region a few times now, I've come to realize that I was mostly right. However, the region also includes Colorado, which is an especially diverse and beautiful state. All in all, the region has much to offer, and I intend to return again and again.
