You know you're in Wisconsin when there is a festival in honour of the brat (bratwurst ... aka sausage) where the whole point of the festival is to try to break the world record for how many brat's are consumed over a single holiday weekend (and raise some money for local charities). The goal? 200,000 brats. Madison's population is somewhere around 220,000. Sweet home Wisconsin.
